Festival parade in Ukraine.

First of April in my country we celebrate humor day.On that day everybody going to the city in special clothes and dress.All people in during the day make some fan, joy, make a lot of laughing .They making some pictures on their faces.Doing some games, dancing at night time on the street,and doing a lot of competitions, listening nice music Also at lunch time it is going to be a huge parade on the street .Everyone can participate. Also people in during the day can buy some nice food and get some flashing decoration on the body.

Best place to live.

My name is Kateryna.I came from the beautiful city Odessa in the Ukraine.That is not the capital,but it has the nicest and most popular Opera House in Europe.It also has many beaches and good weather in summer time.My favorite place is Australia,because it has many different cultures, wild animals,nice beaches , good weather in all seasons and a million things to do.!

Odessa is where I grew up so I'd like to share it with you. It's a very beautiful city, don't you think?

Easter Hollidays!

Unfortunately I did not go to the Easter Show. No the Holiday I went to camping with my friends .It was good time to see everyone.We have see each other for a long time. So,we went for a 4 days to the nice plays near the river. We had lovely BBQ, make some salads, bring lots of food.At night time we did dancing and singing to celebrate Happy Easter, it was grate! On the other day we use to cook some chicken soup on lunch time, and then we did lots of funny games. Some people playing poker, other people enjoyed to play valley ball and did walking around this nice area. So all had nice week and,had good time. But I hope next Easter I will go to visit the Easter Show, because Ive never been there.I hope that all of us has a grate time !

Harmony Day!!!

Last Wednesday our TAFE has celebrated Harmony Day! When I came to the class our teacher Marion give to our group some stickers. Students from our group bring some tasty food .At 10 am we went to building A and many students from other groups went to this building to celebrate Harmony Day.Also they bring a lot of different kinds of food. We had a good time listening to some students speak. There was a few Russian student who singing Russian songs , and one Russian lady was dancing.Was funny!!! After that we decide to go back to our class and celebrate this lovely time with our group and share food. Now I know about this Harmony Day more, and had a good time.

An Excursion.

Last Tuesday we went on Excursion to celebrate international Women's day!

The weather was beautiful ! We met with other people at the Migrant Resource Centre.
Then after our bus drive us to the nice park where we did bushwalking, and so some dangerous cross spider and met some Aboriginal men by name Max. Max Lightning the moss and did for us part of smoking ceremony. The Aboriginal men told us very interesting story about grandmother tree, also we so the Gum tree- 100 yers old.
After bushwalking our group met Wildlife men by name Anthony . The man show to us very beautiful animals, like Blossom- Ringtail Possum, Frog by name Fredo , Flying Fox, nice Bird and Blue Tongue Lizard.The men told us that all of this animals live with his family.I think that great!!!
After nice Excursion we back to Migrant Resource Centre, had nice lunch talk to other people. One lady told her story about her life in this country, it was very interesting story. Also we had fun, some Lebanese girl show to us haw to do Lebanese dance, it was nice!!! So I think all of us was enjoyed this nice day, and good weather!
